The Old Tin Shed is our garage we have lovingly renovated into a modern studio. It is a short walk to downtown Wanaka and the Lake, which has a wide selection of cafes, restaurants, bars, and shops to enjoy. Cardrona Mountain and Treble Cone are about 40-minutes drive away. Head out on the lake, up the mountain or explore one of the many hiking trails in the area before coming back to your little base and enjoying a relaxing spa. The Old Tin Shed is best suited for couples for a short stay. It is a hotel style room (no kitchen sink), but has everything you would require for a comfortable short stay.
We are a young family, so we spend a lot of our time down at the lake and out in nature as much as possible
Less than a 10-minute walk to town and the lake and a 5-minute walk to the Mount Iron walking track. There is a coffee and breakfast/lunch food truck directly across the road, and a brewery pub 2 minutes' walk away.
