We have an DVD library so you can enjoy a family movie night. A child friendly apartment with several items for toddlers and babies such as a travel cot and high chair (included in rate). A balcony with a BBQ perfect for grilling fresh fish brought from the fish shop down the road. We are very close to one of the many swimming pools on the resort and the supermarket is just across the road from our apartment. The weekly free activities on offer that can be found in the Pine Cliffs app, Experience Guide, such as golf for beginners (I always go for fun), bicycle tour of the resort known as the Family Tour, "Top 3 Tastes from Portugal" at the cooking school, and the botanical tour are some of my favourites. Activities may be different depending on the season you visit the resort. There is no need to hire a car because there is so much to do on the resort.

Having visited the Algarve for more than 20 years I am keen to share my Algarve experience with you as I love to explore the area, find new beaches, restaurants and activities and visit the traditional villages nearby. Off season we enjoy the indoor pool area as we can use the steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, heated pool and gym at no extra cost. We enjoy walking along the scenic footpath on the cliffs, heading west from the Pine Cliffs resort to the typical Portuguese fishing village, Olhos d' Agua, where you can enjoy a leisurely lunch at the beachfront restaurant, La Cigale, or enjoy one of Gloria's home baked cakes at Sleepy Donkey - my favourite is the Portuguese orange cake. Enjoy a longer walk along the beach when you head east from the Pine Cliffs resort, to the award winning Villamoura Marina and enjoy lunch on the marina before taking a taxi back to the resort.

Carnival Loulé 2021: The colourful 3-day parade of floats, samba groups, Brazilian dancers and giant costumed characters fill the streets of Loulé creating great excitement and enjoyment for all visitors. Loule is a popular destination for day trippers with its Saturday Arabian style indoor market and is ideal for souvenir shopping and a delightful venue for foodie lovers. Visit the charming cafe, Q Cafe, for "melk tart" a typical South African desert known as milk tart. A variety of Portuguese pottery shops can be found in Porches. Visit the most photographed beach as seen on the Portuguese postcards, Ponta da Piedade, enjoy a boat trip or SUP to view the Lagos Benagil cave followed by a leisurely lunch at O Camilo restaurant with its gorgeous views of the rock formations and beach.
