Praia da Bordeira is one of it's largests beaches and Praia do Amado is a very famous surf spot. Casa Bombordo's furniture is all unique and handmade. It's simplicity brings peace and harmony in every corner of the house, it's perfect to relax and enjoy nature.

I am a PR at a multinational company and I'm a passionate biker and an adventure and nature seeker. This project, to which body and soul was dedicated, is filled with love. Carrapateira is a small fisherman's village in one of the most amazing coast of Portugal, Costa Vicentina. Praia da Bordeira is one of it's largests beaches and Praia do Amado is a very famous surf spot. Carrapateira is known for being very authentic, most locals are fisherman and agricultures. Close to the house you can find the "Museu do Mar e da Terra da Carrapateira", it demonstrate the various traditional activities linked to fishing and agriculture in this region. There is also a public barbecue (just behind Casa Bombordo) feel free to use it and embrace Carrapateira's authentic lifestyle. Carrapateira is close to many villages and their amazing beaches: Aljezur (20kms), Arrifana (30kms), Vila do Bispo (15kms), Sagres (20kms) and Lagos (30kms). In the central plaza (2min walk from Casa Bombordo) you can find 4 small restaurants, 2 surf shops/rentals, a souvenir shop and the bus stop that can get to Sagres, Lagos, Aljezur, even Lisbon. Some might be closed in low season. There is free Wi-Fi and a kids playground next to the school. In both Bordeira and Amado Beaches there is a beach bar and a surf school for lessons or rentals.
