The "Cantinho da Ilha" is located in the serene village of Achadinha - Nordeste. This property has: -2 living rooms; -3 rooms named: •“Pico da Vara” Room - (is a shared room, constituted by two bunk beds); •“Poço Azul” Room - (is a double room, consisting of two single beds); •“Ribeira dos Caldeirões” Room - (is also a double room, with a queen size bed); This property has available a crib that can be installed in both “Poço Azul” and “Ribeira dos Caldeirões” rooms. -A fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils to prepare any meal; -Patio to enjoy great views or simply relax and work your tan; -2 bathrooms; -Reception; -Backyard, where there is the possibility for the guests to be in direct contact with some animals and crops (this for those who like this type of activities); This home has 6 bikes of different sizes (safety equipment is only available for children). Its use implies the payment of an additional fee. The use of the washing machine or dryer requires the payment of a fee. At the reception there is 1 safe where you can store personal belongings. Breakfast is included, but vegan/gluten-free or other breakfast has an additional cost.

Cantinho da Ilha Guest House is located at the relaxing village of Achadinha - Nordeste. In this village there is a pedestrian trail called "Terras dos Nosso Senhor" (Lands of Our Lord) where it is possible to visit the beautiful “Poço Azul” (blue lagoon). Close to this Guest House (approximately 2,5 km away) you can also visit one of the most beautiful natural parks of São Miguel – Park of “Ribeira dos Caldeirões”. This is an ideal place for people who love a relaxing bike ride or calm hike. Along the way you can enjoy the pleasure of our pure nature, and at the end you will be provided with beautiful waterfalls. You can access the highest point of the island - "Pico da Vara", through the village of Achadinha. This place offers direct contact with local/endemic plants, as well as great views of both, north and south sides of our island. From there you will also be able to have a glimpse of our neighbour island – Santa Maria. This mountain and surroundings are the only habitat of the "Priolo", which is a protected bird that only exists on São Miguel island. "Pico da Vara" is undoubtedly a place that we consider that should be visited (Note: we can make it happen!).
