Faial da Terra is probably the most beautiful town on the island of São Miguel. Enclosed between the mountains and the ocean, Faial da terra offers us everything we could want on a break. The calm of a small parish, the mountains and their trails, the green pastures, the valley and the sea. It is a case of saying that its rurality ends at the sea.
