## The neighborhood The cottage is located smack in the middle of old town Albufeira, very close to the beach and just around the corner from lots of restaurants, shops, and bars, and therefore a popular tourist destination. As the cottage is located at the end of a dead-end residential street, you are in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, but still in a quiet and calm place. ## Getting around You can easily get around on foot or use public transport or taxi/uber to travel around town. If you wish to explore the larger Algarve area, a hire car is recommended. Parking in old town Albufeira is challenging, therefore we recommend you to use one of the parking areas on the outskirts of the city and walk or take a taxi from there.
