The house is located in Carvoeiro, in a quiet condominium, close to the center of Carvoeiro. 150 meters to the main street, 600 meters minutes to the main beach. The house was partially renovated, has good areas, great natural temperature for summer/winter, nice balcony facing the garden where you can have your meals or just chill out in the hammock. The apartment is simple and clean with a traditional architecture that was maintained and restored.
About 12 years ago i started to host in my family house dozens of travellers and backpackers from all parts of the world who opened my horizons and showed me totally different ways of living. In the middle of this, like Robert Frost I reached two roads who diverged in a wood, and i took.. a year to travel in the Middle East and North of Africa hitchiking and homestaying with many locals, who somehow, changed me forever. Obviously that made me have the travel bug within me, and from time to time i need to leave Portugal and explore a bit more of the world. I'm a economist working in wealth managment directly with clients as a freelancer. At the same time I work as a tour leader, with small groups of people or small companies/projects, organizing and helping out their trips all around Portugal (and abroad - to Iran, Egypt, Vietnam, Kenya and Greece), in a tailor made way and sharing moments with local people and local knowledge to achieve unique experiences when travelling. Apart from this, I'm still that young teenager, 12 years ago, who just loves to host and meet foreigners, in that perspective, nothing had really changed.
The neighbourhood is super quiet, with nice gardens, and a exquisite architecture. There are some residents living permanently and many others has second-home houses that Portuguese and foreigner's use for their holidays. The place has easy free-parking (if you're by car), but at the same time, just around the corner you're in the main center street of Carvoeiro with all the restaurants, bars, entertainment, etc. Surrounding the house, some by walking distance, other just 5 minutes by car, you have a dozen of paradisiac beaches to choose from. You may don't want to leave so early as you expected :)
