Opened in 2026, Coconut Villas is a secure, exclusive complex of eight private villas in Matemwe, one of Zanzibar’s most peaceful and scenic coastal areas.
Set directly on the beach, the property offers easy access to boutique restaurants and cozy beach bars, as well as nearby village grocery stores and other shops.
Each two-storey villa features two separate, fully furnished units with equipped kitchens — a Luxury Apartment with a private pool and, on the upper level, a Master Suite with an exclusive sun terrace—each with its own private entrance. The units can be used together or independently, giving guests the flexibility to enjoy both shared and private spaces.
The villas are surrounded by private gardens and pools, beach sunbathing areas, and breathtaking ocean views.
Coconut Villas is ideal for couples, families with children aged eight and above, and groups of friends seeking a stylish and comfortable retreat. Its spacious and flexible layout, private gardens, pools, terraces, and beach facilities make it perfect for longer stays, offering the ideal balance of privacy and togetherness.
