We are Karibu Maisha Lodge, located in Kizimkazi Mkunguni, South Zanzibar Island, Tanzania, East Africa. We built the place ourselves with the idea of creating an oasis of Health & Healing, slow living pace, with delicious & nutricious meals, music, adventures, secret spots … Experience Zanzibar island with Karibu Maisha!

The property is built around 6 wide bungalows, a large swimming pool & a large Yoga Shala / SPA area, the restaurant and bar. Groups and families friendly, with very big spacious tropical gardens and common areas, chilling spots... A remote location, an adventurous and peaceful experience. The beach is 3/5 mins walk, a mini market is a 3min walk away, while Kizimkazi town is 1km away, approx 20min walk.

A cozy neighbourhood, with residents from all over the world, local and expats, living in suggestive tropical houses hidden in the bush. A great area to explore by foot, bicycle or bodaboda (the local bike service). Get yourself ready to connect with nature and discover hidden gems of our planet!
