La Base Hotel starts from the dream of two travelers to create, even far from Italy, a little protected corner where people can always feel at home. We have been living in Zanzibar for some years now and, with a lot of efforts and passion, we have decided to unite our know-how in hotel industry and business to create first La Base Junglekite, a well-known kite-school on the island, and then La Base Restaurant & Beach Bar, where we serve delicious food directly on the beach. Finally, on January 2020 we opened La base Hotel.

La Base Hotel has 8 double rooms and one quadruple room. They are all very spacious and they are made even more comfortable by a refined modern and functional furniture and bathrooms with sanitary ware. All rooms have an independent terrace, which overlooks a lush tropical garden with a relaxation area, ideal for enjoying a wellness break. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning and free wi-fi internet connection. The price of each room includes a rich breakfast, which is served every morning from 08.00 till 10.00 at our restaurant. Kiwengwa’s long beach is ready to welcome our guests and offer them a holiday dedicated to sport, wellness and good food. In the equipped area next to La Base Restaurant & Beach Bar our guests will be able to relax on comfortable sunbeds and colorful poufs, to practice kite-surf with the experienced and professional instructors of our kite-school La base Junglekiteand to benefit from constant assistance and Storage service. At La Base Restaurant & Beach Bar our guests can enjoy our dishes while sitting on the beautiful terrace with a view of the sea or indulge in a quick snack in a suggestive setting.
