Treat yourself to a gorgeous natural setting with a magical banyan tree, while still close to amenities. Nestled in the jungle and surrounded by greenery, our comfortable bungalow offers a queen bed, small kitchen, private entry and large lanai, plus a fun private outdoor shower steps away from bedroom. Located in a unique jungle setting minutes away from the famous Captain Cook trail with breathtaking views leading to Kealakekua Bay. Note that 17.5% additional State/County Tax is added to each booking.

Neighborhood info

This property is down a quiet lane which connects to the main road to Kona, just a 20 minute drive. Lots of cafes, restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, antique shops, kayak and SUP rental places and more are an easy drive in nearby towns of Captain Cook, Kealakekua, and Keauhou, which also features a shopping center. A variety of beaches and tourist attractions—including coffee farm tours, snorkeling, hiking, kayaking, and diving or snorkeling with Manta rays are all within a 20 minute radius. Manta Suite is the perfect home base for all your island adventures. It’s hard to experience the Big Island without a car, though technically you can walk to the Farmer’s Market, the Captain Cook trailhead, and some small businesses or cafes in about 10-20 minutes, depending on which. Walking would require you to be along a busy 2-lane road.
