Perfect for nature lovers and those exploring the Oregon Coast and Samuel Boardman trails, Sugar Mountain is a cute woodland cabin with a main floor bedroom, a loft with a king size bed, a clawfoot tub in the bathroom, a spacious deck, and a cozy wood stove. Built by a famous local artist and architect, Douglas Purdy, the cabin has a fun Alice in Wonderland vibe with unique handmade door latches, low cabinets and a spacious deck for forest bathing. The cabin has fast wifi, a fully equipped kitchen, electric baseboard heating as well as a woodstove. A unique wooden spiral staircase leads you up to the loft.
Greetings! We are Johan and Liza- artists and world travelers who love living in Southern Oregon. We are happy to share our two magical Brookings Cabins: Sugar Mountain and the neighboring Deja Vu cabin. Built by a local architect, these cabins are located at the end of a private drive, surrounded by woodlands. We live about 40min away in Gold Beach, and are always available as needed by phone or message.
Private, end of the road location surrounded by forest and sweeping views into the valley and a glimpse of ocean view.
