Brookings is a cute town and we have been going there for...

Brookings is a cute town and we have been going there for years on vacations. Things have changed in the past few years. You know where the city borders start. No homeless in city but the county area by harbor is full of them and the area is trashed. When visiting make sure you are staying in the city, the county is not enforcing vagrancy laws.

Amazing stay!

Amazing stay! Beautiful cozy space with all amenities you could ask for. Beautiful view and delightful host that went out of her way to show us everything including whales in the water. Highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Walking on the beach and watching the pelicans was fun.

Walking on the beach and watching the pelicans was fun. We mainly visited with family so I can't really say too much about activities. We had great clam chowder at Zolas restaurant and enjoyed visiting the shops at the harbor.

Brookings offers amazing hiking trails and a ton of beaches...

Brookings offers amazing hiking trails and a ton of beaches that create a feel of private beaches. You can go for miles and see no one. The redwood forrest is 10 minutes away and is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Magical! I love Oregon.

Temperature was great after being in 100 degree heat! Love the harbor area. Hate that most restaurants close too early. 8:00 pm, really? For a tourist town? Did not find any really great food and the prices were very high!

Brookings is the last city north of California.

Brookings is the last city north of California. If you go South, be sure to fill up your car tank, because the gas price in California is much higher, easily $1.5 more for the gallon. Otherwise, it is easier to camp in California than in Oregon.

The cabin was quiet, rustic, & is surrounded by trees with a view looking toward the ocean. The location is only 10 minutes from Brookings & 5 minutes from many local beaches. What I especially enjoyed was bathing in the claw foot bath tub overlooking the mountain view from a large picture window listening to the birds. .Wow ... so peaceful and relaxing. I also like the fact that earth (eco) friendly cleaning products and soaps are used. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Incredible clifftop location overlooking Brookings Harbour, Southern Oregon and even California. Amazing artistic, bohemian bedroom suite and wonderful private hot tub with stupendous views. Great personal, friendly and generous hospitality from the hosts. We long to come back here!

Super dirty! We found bugs in our bed and then we called the front desk and left several messages! No answer! We had to leave the hotel and find another place to sleep
