1 Mountain Rd is a newly built unique boutique style B&B overlooking the village and offering 4 spacious and well appointed rooms each with panoramic views over Fish Hoek beach, and False Bay as far as the Hottentots Hollands mountains. Wake up each morning to spectacular sunrises whilst lying in bed, or whilst enjoying coffee and rusks from your own patio, before heading off to enjoy all the attractions that the Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula have to offer.

1 Mountain Rd is newly completed, and represents the culmination of a dream that hosts Sanchia and Ray took five years to turn into reality. We identified this idyllic spot whilst on a motorcycle tour of South Africa in 2014, and immediately fell in love with the view, deciding there and then that this is where we would like to spend our retirement years. The vista is so special and awe inspiring, that we resolved to share it with those who would find as much pleasure in it as we do, and hence we included four B&B rooms.

Things to do and places to visit in Fish Hoek include Fish Hoek beach for swimming, whale watching from Jaeger's Walk, and Fish Hoek Surf Lifesaving Club, as well as numerous shops, restaurants and cosy coffee bars. Within a 10 minutes drive are Kalk Bay (where browsing various curio shops, antique dealers, restaurants, coffee shops and art dealers is a rewarding experience), Kalk Bay fishing harbour, Muizenburg beach (for the surfers), Simonstown's Jubillee Square, Simonstown Yacht Club, Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, and the Cape Point wine route. A 15 to 20 minute drive will bring one to Cape Point National Park, the infamous Chapmans Peak drive and Silvermine Nature Reserve, or Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Within 30 minutes driving time, are most other Cape town attractions including Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, the city center, Cape Town Castle Hout Bay Harbour
