Ideally located in the Constantia winelands, this newly built luxury guest house has sweeping views over Groot Constantia wine farm, the surrounding mountains and the ocean. This elegant home is bright and airy, with high trussed ceilings and a contemporary open plan living and dining area. A sheer panel of sliding doors across the entire living area gives way to a vast patio and entertainment space, where guests are invited to indulge in a glass of local wine while watching the sun set. With a built in gas BBQ, heated swimming pool, Smart TV and broadband Wifi, the home is a joy for children and adults alike. PLEASE NOTE: The house is ideal for a maximum of 6 adults and 4 children. Two of the bedrooms are structured as family units - with queen / twin beds on the ground floor and double beds in the adjoining lofts. The third bedroom is a self-contained unit with an en-suite bathroom and a separate entrance. The guest house is located on the same property as our own home and the entrance is shared. Use of the swimming pool is also for shared use. We have two small dogs who live on the property (cavalier King Charles spaniels) who sometimes come to greet our guests.

I moved with my family to the beautiful city of Cape Town in 2015, where we set up home on a large Provencal-style property in the Constantia winelands. I am a photographer, a writer, a consultant, a wife and a mom to two teenage boys and a 14 year old girl. I love travel, decor, design and good wine! We completed building a second dwelling on our property in 2018, designed to optimise the views over the valley and to provide an idyllic retreat for guests from all over the world. I love meeting people from different backgrounds and look forward to connecting with you as your host. We go out of our way to make our guests feel at home while still giving them privacy and space - but we are just a shout away if you need any assistance!

The guest house is located in an ideal position in Constantia, within walking distance from the famous Groot Constantia wine farm and a short drive from some of the other spectacular wine farms in the area, including Buitenverwachting, Klein Constantia and Steenberg. The neighbourhood is quiet and has a pastoral feeling, but is only a 5 minute drive from the nearest shopping centre and the highway, a short 20 minute drive from Cape Town's city centre, and a 15 minute drive from the nearest beaches, making it an ideal base for exploring the treasures of the Western Cape.
