Property info

55 on Main is perfectly located in the central hub of Fish Hoek, approximately 100 metres from the beautiful Fish Hoek beach. Enjoy 1.5 kilometres of white sands and rolling dunes leading into the warm, safe and shallow waters of the characterful bay. Our apartments have fully equipped kitchens, dining and lounge areas, with en-suite bathroom and guest toilet. At 55 on Main, we offer both long and short term accommodation suitable for couples, families, groups and business travellers. Please be aware that we have stairs leading to the apartments and rooms on the first and second levels of the building, as well as our mezzanine level rooms. We are therefore not suitable for persons using wheelchairs. Enjoy a 10 minute walk to Kalk Bay – recently voted ‘the coolest neighbourhood’ on the Forbes list (2018) – and discover its eclectic & vibrant spaces, restaurants, authentic fishing harbour, seaside bars, antique & artisanal shops.

55 on Main is situated 10 minutes away from Simon’s Town, the gateway to Boulder’s Beach Penguin Colony and the Cape Point Nature Reserve. Noordhoek – also a 10-15 minute drive away – is home to the majestic 8km Noordhoek Beach, where one can enjoy horseriding, serene sunset picnics at Cape Point Vineyards, and the breathtaking Chapman’s Peak Drive. Kommetjie and Muizenberg, home to many a famous surfer with its spectacular beaches, are also a short 10 minute drive away.
