A Place in Thyme is situated in a quiet area of Fish Hoek on the False Bay coast of South Africa. We offer accommodation in three different units - the two-bedroom cottage sleeps 5; Small Thyme Studio sleeps 2 and Big Thyme sleeps 3 guests. The views from all three units are wonderful - mountain, valley and sea. Our guests appreciate the peace and quiet. A Place in Thyme is ideally located for visits to historic Simon's Town, quaint Kalk Bay and tourist destinations such as Cape Point Nature Reserve, Boulders penguin colony and much more.
We love the diversity of guests we receive and our only wish is that they enjoy their stay with us, that they feel welcomed and appreciated. We live on the property and, therefore, are at hand if guests need assistance in any way.
Fish Hoek has a lovely family beach with restaurants on the beach, and not too far away are the villages of Kalk Bay and Simon's Town, both of which have well-known restaurants that are popular with locals as well as tourists. Famous tourist destinations near by include Cape Point Nature Reserve, Boulder's Penguin Colony (and its beautiful beach), Muizenberg surfer's corner, Kalk Bay Harbour, Cape Point Winery, Noordhoek Farm Village, Chapman's Peak.
