Neighborhood info

SImon's Town is a neighbourhood rich in history. It was established in the late 1600's by the then Governor of The Cape Coloney, SImon Van Der Stel. It was established as a winter anchorage point for the Dutch East India Company. Today Simon's Town is rich in history, both from a Dutch and British stand point. It is home to the South African Naval base and within close proximity to world famous tourist sites such as Boulders Beach and Cape Point Nature Reserve.
