Avontuur Estate, home of Fine Wines and Fast Horses, nestles against the Helderberg between Stellenbosch and Somerset West. Visit us on the Stellenbosch Wine Route for wine tasting, wine sales and a bite to eat in our restaurant.

We are extremely excited to open up our luxurious Manor house accommodation offering. The old Manor has recently undergone a spectacular renovation to provide guests with the most comfortable and stylish of interiors and the most enjoyable farm lifestyle experience possible. The Manor House can be exclusively booked out for weddings and private events. Functions of up to 60 guests can be hosted on the beautiful Manor House lawns or within the intimate courtyard space. The Manor House has 9 private Suites, 4 lounges, tennis court, conference facilities, swimming pool, pavilion, and large rolling lawns. The Avontuur Restaurant and tasting room is right on your door step and a mere 200m walk away. Pricing starting at R3000 per room, and special rates available for the first bookings. There really is no better place to isolate at the moment, surrounded by horse paddocks, vineyards and the healthy abundance of space. The house is also available to book out exclusively.

The historic Cape Dutch Manor House nestles itself beautifully between the pristine pastures and vineyards, while panoramic views of the Table Mountain, False Bay, and the wine lands surround. This luxury villa/guesthouse consists of a tennis court, swimming pool, jacuzzi, immaculate lawns and gardens, en-suite bathrooms, a large kitchen, living rooms, and a library. The estate is 20 minutes from Cape Town International airport, 35 minutes from the V&A Waterfront, 10 minutes from Stellenbosch central, 15 minutes from Strand beach, and 5 minutes from a shopping center and major access routes. Guests can enjoy hiking, surfing, fishing, wine tasting, and fine dining in the area.
