Beletage is located on Leisure Island in the lagoon of Knysna. Bollards Beach is 1640 feet from the property. The apartments feature a seating and dining area with a flat-screen satellite TV. One unit offers a sunken, furnished patio with barbecue facilities and the other unit has a balcony overlooking the park. There is a kitchen, equipped with a stove, microwave, toaster and fridge and all cooking utensils. There is a tennis court nearby and the area is popular for golfing and fishing. The Waterfront - Knysna Quays is 3.7 mi away. Our property is totally of the grid. We have solar panels for electricity and own safe water supply.

Beletage , the beautiful home, is situated on Leisure Isle. The " best " suburb in Knysna. An Island surrounded by the indian ocean with the only swimming beach in Knysna.
We offer two private apartments, both overlooking Church Square park. They either feature a patio or balcony to enjoy al fresco meals outside, an en suite bathroom as well as a kitchen, seating area and dining area.
Take the free bikes for a ride around the island, visit the local coffee shops for some amazing food or spend a day on the beach with your complimentary beach towels and umbrella.
Leisure Ise is all about laid back feeling, no traffic, peace and quiet and wonderful nature.
Knysna town is only a short drive away with all its restaurants and lagoon activities

John built this house from scratch, designed it , built it. All I gave him was a picture from a magazine and said " thats the kind of house I want and our guests will enjoy"
We had fun building and furnishing it and love the fact that we can welcome people from all over the world.
Just after we met in 2012 we took our land cruiser, camping equipment and a map and travelled Africa for 6 month. thats where we learned how important it is to find a good place at the end of the road after a long day. ( we even thought of calling our house " of of the road")
A warm welcome was the best, clean sheets and a good shower and of course excellent wifi. And lots of tips from the people who knew the area well. The do's and don'ts. The best restaurants, the hidden beaches and the closest dentist....
We hope we provide this welcome for our guests now too.
For us Leisure Isle is Paradise found. A small island in the Knysna Lagoon - surrounded by warm indian Ocean Water. Secure and safe. No traffic to speak off, animals, bikes and children have right of way.
A couple of coffee shops to visit , a wonderful beach one can walk to with just a towel in hand and the swim suit already on.
a bottle of wine whilst watching the sunset on the beach and absolute piece and quiet at night.
But - still a tourist town nearby . With great restaurants, good bars, wonderful shopping and lots of activities to take part in.
Come and be an islander for a few days or weeks.
