With its contemporary design, low energy and water footprints, Blaauw is ideal for the modern traveler who appreciates privacy and enjoys luxuries like personal space, quality linen and guest amenities. This three bedroom three bathroom cottage is suitable as a couples retreat or for a larger group of up to six adults.

I’m originally from Gauteng and relocated to Riebeek Kasteel. The town with its European village feel, and the beauty of the surrounding “Swartland” captured me immediately. I enjoy traveling, good food and exploring new destinations and Riebeek Kasteel tick all those boxes for me.

The village of Riebeek Kasteel is nestled in the Swartland which is home to some of the best wineries in the country. Vineyards, olive and fruit orchards are set on a backdrop of mountain landscapes that are covered with snow in winter. With its proximity to Cape town, fine wineries and restaurants this is the ideal getaway destination. From Riebeek Kasteel you can explore nearby towns, or relax and enjoy the tranquility. From Blaauw cottage walk or bike to nearby restaurants or pick-up your croissants at the bakery for your morning coffee to be enjoyed on the veranda overlooking the indigenous garden.
