Surrounded by Signal Hill’s Bluegum trees, this guest house offers panoramic views of Table Bay, Robben Island and the 2010 World Cup Soccer Stadium. There is a salt-water pool with a sun deck. Decorated with African artifacts and wooden furniture, Bluegum Hill Guest house - loadshed proof - offers accommodations with air conditioning and a tea/coffee maker. Each room has a private bathroom with a hairdryer. A generous al-fresco breakfast is served daily on Bluegum Hill’s terrace, and always includes complimentary refreshments. The property is located 1.2 mi from the V&A Waterfront, on the topmost slopes of Signal Hill allowing for fantastic views, this also means there are stairs leading down to the guest house from the street, the stairs are wide and have a handrail, and are suitable for any reasonably fit person. Free private car parking and secure on street parking is available. At an additional cost, an airport shuttle is available to Cape Town International Airport, 12 mi away.

Bluegum Hill Guesthouse has the most magnificent views over Table Bay, The Waterfront, The Harbour and Bloubergstrand beaches across Table Bay. The Guesthouse & Apartments, are all on the same street, in the upmarket suburb of Greenpoint. All Apartments within a 2 minute walk from the Main Guesthouse. Location: drive about 3 to 5 minutes to the City & about 5 to 7 minutes to the Waterfront. We recommend UBER, its reliable, safe & cheap to use - especially to return home as its uphill & a bit far to walk! We do not recommend walking at night. We take great care of our guests & are very service orientated... as are our lovely Staff who are really special & always ready with a smile! Bluegum Hill Guesthouse is comfy & relaxed, and all rooms are individually decorated. Enjoy wonderful views throughout the house & whilst enjoying our delicious home cooked breakfasts! The Guesthouse & Apartments are on a topmost road on the slopes of Signal Hill, giving us our fantastic views... being set on a Hill there are a good amount of stairs from the street to the guesthouse & apartments. Our guests seem to think the views are well worth it & make up for the stairs! Unfortunately the stairs are unsuitable for anyone with disability or limited physical capability, although they are generally easy to use, nice and wide with handrails. Flights & Late Check In After 7pm: Please book our private transfer driver to safely meet you at the airport and check you in. Early Arrivals: Guests are very welcome to arrive from 9am onwards, to drop luggage and collect keys. Guests can relax here until check in from 2pm. Arrivals after 6pm by Arrangement Only: Please arrange a time as we do not have 24 hour reception. Check in from 2pm to 6pm: Please let us have your approximate arrival time here so we can be here to meet you! Feel free to contact us for any further information or suggestions needed for your stay!
