Only 2 hours out of Cape Town this majestic farmhouse will provide you with that much needed out of the city break (no cell phone reception). Bobbejaans Kloof Mountain retreat is a newly built farm house, that is surrounded by beautiful mountains and is completely off the grid. The water comes from the stream, the power from the sun and 2 fireplaces gives you warmth on chilly nights. What to bring: Family and Friends and an off-road vehicle (4x4 or skilled driver with high clearance car recommended). Bobbejaanskloof has a Main House and a barn. The Main house consists of 3 bedrooms - one with an en-suite bathroom and an outdoor shower and 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom with shower and bath. The barn has 2 rooms and a shared bathroom. The main attraction of the barn is the games room with pool table and table tennis.
My dear Guests When I came to South Africa 20 years ago I fell in love with this beautiful country. I was dreaming of having a little retreat were I could meet and host our family and friends from Germany. We so much enjoy to have a weekend away from busy Cape Town. Having no cell phone reception and hearing only nature sounds are ointment to the soul. I hope you will be as fascinated as we are about this magical retreat. Enjoy your stay with family and friends.
