Casa Solana which means "Sunny House" in Spanish, as this home is exactly that, a warm, sunny space that is felt and seen as you walk inside. A charming villa, with a focus for comfort, spacious living areas and situated in a quiet neighborhood. Newly renovated, the owners have kept the Spanish style of arched doorways, natural materials and rounded edges. With beautiful wooden ceilings, and wooden flooring, it really does make you feel "at home". All the furniture has been made by local companies, who have crafted such beautiful pieces.  The kitchen has all the necessary items needed for entertaining but its real sparkle comes from the bright yellow oven placed carefully at the heart of the space. As one cooks, you and your family can connect at the kitchen island or over a candlelit dinner at the elegant oval dining room table. The Spanish feel continues into the garden which is a mix of flowering plants, succulents, and shrubs, and of course, the infamous bougainvillea. Nestled into the garden is a large kidney-shaped pool and a hot tub which makes summer days just that more fun. Tokai is a safe, quiet, residential area.  There is the local butchery for a Saturday braai, Bootleggers for a much needed coffee and delish slice of banana bread.  Tokai is home to Mountain biking, Horse riding and long walks in the forest.
