Overlooking a natural fynbos green belt and adjoining the beautiful Calypso Beach in Langebaan, there are just two individual apartments in a modern Cape-style house, within earshot of the sea and surf. See and hear the guinea fowl running wild, along with a variety of other bird life, feasting on the berries of the wild. Take a stroll through the nature reserve to the beach, and feel uplifted by the spirit of nature, just watch out for the tortoises and buck on the way! In winter time - July to End September - the green belt becomes a natural garden of wild flowers adding lots of colour and extra beauty to the area. The ground floor apartment "The Beach Cove" has a terrace opening up to the fynbos garden and is decorated with the beach in mind. Here one can relax, or BBQ with its own built-in BBQ fireplace. The apartment is fully equipped, including microwave and dishwasher. The bedroom is spacious with plenty of cupboard space and the bathroom ensuite features a large walk-in shower. The "Out of Africa" apartment, decorated with an African theme, is up just one flight of stairs and features a large veranda with its own built-in BBQ fireplace, and a view overlooking the natural fynbos area, giving its name. A place to chill and watch some glorious sunsets over the estate. Also a fully furnished apartment including all the cutlery and crockery one can need. The bedroom is spacious with an African charm and bathroom ensuite. Full DSTV is included in both apartments and free WiFi.

I have been in the hospitality industry for almost 20 years, having run a 4-star B & B in La Lucia, KwaZulu Natal, and holiday apartments in Blouberg, Western Cape. Myself and my husband relocated to the West Coast from KZN in December 2021 and just love the atmosphere here. We are amazed at the beautiful surroundings, flora and fauna that we see every day. Blue Lagoon in Langebaan, abuts the beautiful Calypso Beach, a private beach away from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by fynbos and nature, there are many walks one can enjoy.The secure complex is just a 5 minute drive to the Mykonos resort with several beachfront restaurants and bars, and Tsogo Sun casino. The Laguna Mall and Nautica Centre are just 3 minutes drive away. Under 10 minute drive and you will find yourself in the main town of Langebaan, where there are more restaurants and bars and curio shops. Fresh fish and seafood, including West Coast Mussels and Oysters abound. Langebaan bays and beaches are a playground for water sports enthusiasts, with kite surfing, surfing and boogy boarding, wind surfing, boating, sailing, fishing and kayaking all prominent and visible activities. For the golfer, there's the Langebaan Country Club, and for nature lovers the West Coast Nature Reserve adjoins Langebaan, where one can hike, or take a drive through the reserve which comes alive particularly during the winter months - July to End-September - when the West Coast wild flowers show themselves. Within 20-30 minutes drive there are several beautiful bays, Paternoster, Veldrif, Jacobsbaai, St. Helena, to name but a few. Langebaan has an amazing beauty and never ceases to take ones breath away. It's small and yet has all the facilities one could want on a holiday.
