Beautiful Cape Dutch cottage situated in the heart of the Winelands overlooking majestic Mountains. The cottage is completely self contained and private. The cottage has two stories, downstairs contains a large living area, open plan kitchen and main bathroom. Upstairs boasts a magnificent large attic double bedroom with kingsize bed, seating area and ensuite toilet and basin. The cottage looks onto a lovely spacious garden and pristine swimming pool. Clarents Cottage is situated in a tranquil neighborhood, close to Vergelegen and Lourensford wine estates and Erinvale championship golf course. Shopping centres are close by as well as many five star restaurants. Whether you are a long or short term holiday maker, business traveler or recuperating from medical procedures this is your home away from home!

Welcome to Clarents Cottage, we are delighted you have chosen our cottage. The cottage is semi detached to the main house, situated in a picturesque garden. We live in a gorgeous part of the Western Cape and will be delighted to share our knowledge regarding scenic drives, places of interest, golf courses, notable vineyards and restaurants. We are retired airline pilots and have travelled to many parts of the world - we enjoy sharing our travel experiences with friends and guests. We love animals, and have 3 cats and 3 friendly dogs who share our home.

Clarents Cottage is perfectly placed at the start or end of the Garden Route. We are 5 minutes drive from Vergelegen, Lourensford and Morgentser wine estates. Ten minutes from the Strand Beach and 15 minutes from the historic town of Stellenbosh. 15 minutes from Cape Town Film Studios, and 30 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. If you are a golfing enthusiast there are no shortages of golf courses in the area such as Erinvale and De Zalze championship clubs, Somerset west and Strand country clubs. There are many mountain hiking routes near by and a multitude of stunning day drives through the mountains and along the coast line.
