Peaceful farm cottage at Elephant View Homestead just outside Plettenberg Bay. Relax on the deck overlooking the Knysna Elephant Park where elephants and zebra are often seen nearby. Enjoy beautiful valley views, birdsong and fresh country air. Our small working farm is home to sheep, cows, pigs and chickens. A quiet countryside escape only a short drive from Plett’s beaches, restaurants and attractions. Need additional space? Elephant View Cottage, also located on the farm, sleeps up to 5 guests. Together the two cottages can accommodate groups of up to 9 guests and are ideal for larger families or groups travelling together.
After spending too much time in Johannesburg, the family and I decided to move to a homestead in the Western Cape. After spending almost 4 years looking for our dream spot, we found Elephant View. With breathtaking views of the Elephant Park, we are also able to farm chickens, sheep and even have bee hives! We are working towards getting cows too. If you are thinking of starting your own homestead, come and spend some time on ours!
