After leaving school I worked in the Gold mining industry as a clerk for three years. I then left and went to university to do a B Com degree ,On completion of my degree I did a Teachers Diploma After that I taught for about 20 years before joining the business world. Opened a very successful upholstery business , which I ran for 10 years I then retired to Knysna where I started Glen House in 1990. So this is our 21st year and still going strong

Glen House is situated in one of those rare residential protected game areas We mostly have small game like bush buck, porcupine lynx and wild pigs. Lots of bird life as well. IN THIS TIME OF INCREASING LOADSHEDDING BE ASSURED THAT YOU WILL NEVER BE LEFT IN THE DARK. OUR INVERTER SYSTEM MAKES SURE THAT THE WIFI TV AND ALL THE LIGHTS REMAIN IN OPERATION

We are a small village often referred to as the Pearl of Knysna. Opposite the property is the Bird Sanctuary What is most appealing of the area is the open spaces lovely for jogging and Cycling The Lagoon is walking distance from Glen House and the sea just other side of the hill ( by car 4 Km) At night you can hear the crashing the waves against the rocks There are some lovely fishing spots nearby A new jetty has been built where you can launch a boat for skiing etc Please dont forget the animals that roam freely about plus the abundant birdlife
