Born and bred in Cape Town. I love my city and introducing it to guests. I enjoy meeting new people and am an avid fisherman, bowls player and painter. My partner Barbara and I, are both retired and spend our week days at The Greenhouse. We supervise on Saturdays and Sundays for that personal touch but at the same time do not encroach on guest privacy.

Dating back 120 years, this Victorian-style manor is nestled in the historic and trendy suburb of Green Point. The interior of The Greenhouse Boutique Hotel feature high ceilings, wooden floors and original banisters. There are 2 family sized rooms and 5 standard rooms, all with showers en-suite. All rooms come with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. The rooms are serviced daily. The bedrooms have queen size beds and there are fridges with tea/coffee facilities in the rooms. There is limited parking available and must be strictly reserved with the owners @R150 per night. The entrance has 12 steps to reception and Strelitzia room. Protea, Agapanthus, Arum and Pincushion are on the 2nd floor with a staircase of 16 steps to access.

The Greenhouse Boutique Hotel is conveniently situated within 5 minutes walking distance of the V&A Waterfront and 10 minutes walk from Cape Town. The My City bus stop is on our doorstep in both directions to Cape Town central and to Camps Bay. This is also the main taxi route. Shops, restaurants, bars and the trendy De Waterkant area are located 2 - 3 blocks away. The Cape Town Stadium, Green Point Park and the Cape Town Convention Centre are all within 10 minutes from The Greenhouse. Traditionally at 12h00 every day the Signal Hill Noon Cannon is fired on the hilltop behlnd us. Green Point is a great choice for travellers interested in nature, restaurants and beaches.
