We are uniquely situated: 100 m from the beach and 50 m from the restaurant in a wooded area. From were we are , one can not see houses, the shop or restaurant, only the mountains and forest with little wind. We are part of the Tsitikamma De Vasselot Nature reserve. The only village inside a National Park. You are renting a flat. We also live on the property. You will be totaly private: living upstairs and to the front, while we live down stairs and to the back. We feed the birds, so there are a lot of bird species visiting our garden on a regular base. You will find 360 different bird species in our area. There are different hiking trails , sandy beaches and indigenous forest. Come and experience nature at it's best. There is a langue and we have a canoe that you can borrow,
We retired here in 2013. We came from Gauteng. We owned the property for more than 20 years and had it renovated and extended recently. I am a artist. I have a studio that you can visit. I do oil paintings inspired by nature. I like birding.
You can visit: Birds of Eden (a free flight bird sanctuary with roughly 3500 birds) , Monkey Land ( the world's first multi-species free roaming primate sanctuary), Tenikwa ( were you can meet different cats), Jukani ( the home of apex predators, Tsitsikamma Canopy tours, Black water tubing, Abseiling and rock climbing and Swim with the seals, Sky dive and Bungy jumping. Then there are very good Restaurants in the area. Enough to do to fill your holidays.
