I love a bit of humor and to make my guests feel welcome and comfortable. The farm offers a lot of river fun and outdoor activities. Come and feel the sensations of fresh dew grass beneath your feet. And at night ... look at the stars. I love: Jogging, hiking, tennis and playing the piano. To sit by a campfire or fire place and read, drink my coffee or wine and laugh with good friends. And ... nature is my "home"! Please remenber: My guesthouses are not a white-linen experience! Come and relax.

“If you never go you will never know!” Merwespont River Life Guesthouses is like paradise where every need is catered for. Die Houthuis (right on the banks of the Breede river), Die Wyntenke and A Snoozer’s Cottage are totally laid-back and great for families, groups of friends, corporate guests, cyclists, bikers and even for Bachelor’s Parties, weddings and whatever you want to celebrate. The setting is beautiful and situated just outside of Bonnievale amongst vineyards, persimmon and pomegranate orchards overlooking the picturesque Langeberg Mountains. Die Houthuis sleeps 14 guests; dormitory-style. Die Wyntenke sleeps 20+ guests; 6 rooms. A Snoozer’s Cottage sleeps 6 guests; 3 bedrooms; (plus 2 budget rooms: sleeps 8 guests) The houses are spacious and offers indoor and outdoor braai facilities. The kitchen is neat and fully equipped. Uncapped wi-fi. Activities: Swimming, jogging, cycling, fishing, braaiing, river fun, canoeing, slip and slide, tractor tubes, and a swing into the river. Let your hair down for an epic time in nature full of fun, laughter and memories for years to come.

Ashton Cellar for wine tasting and Muscadel! 9. Lords restuarant and cellar for pizzas and winetasting. Great experience. 10.
