No 1 Living Waters is a beautiful townhouse above the harbour with a view of the entire False Bay. From the main bedroom, lounge and deck the view is so enchanting you just feel like staying put. The lights at night are magical and romantic. The house has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 5. There are 3 bathrooms (MES). One is a downstairs walk in shower with basin and toilet which is great for coming off the beach covered in sand. It has laundry facilities , Dish washer, Multi-function microwave oven and normal stove and hotplate. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped. There is a deck for alfresco dining and braaiing and private courtyard too. It has a lock up garage and the house is within walking distance of he town and beaches. There are steps next to the house which lead down to the town, restaurants and Yacht Club.
I love my town and am very knowledgeable and can point you in all directions. I enjoy hiking and identifying fynbos in our wonderful mountains. In winter I love pointing out the whales in the bay. Swimming and sailing are my husband and my passion and I often review the restaurants in the gorgeous quirky little town. The beaches are within walking distance from the house; one being the famous Boulders Beach and penguin colony which is about a 2km walk.
Simon's Town is a naval town and probably the closest to an English coastal town in South Africa. The historic mile within the town has beautiful architecture dating back to the 1700s. You can walk to the gorgeous cove like beaches. Boulders with the famous penguins, Seaforth with a beach restaurant, Waters Edge ...tucked in a secret corner and Windmill . There is a train, that will take you over beach and dale to Cape Town ...about an hours journey. The town boasts restaurants museums and shops. The nearest supermarket is Harbour Bay a new shopoing centre just outside the town. However, there are cafes and small grocers in the town. Whales visit from June to November,There is diving , Shark cage diving, sailing and Kyakking. Cape Point is about 11 km away to the gate. The famous Scratch Patch is loved by kids and adults and is about 3 km from the house. The town has a variety of churches.
