A serene and stylish retreat in one of Cape Town’s most sought-after locations. The guests have a large suite as well as a big terrace with seating. It is all very private and they are the only ones on that floor of the Villa Guests do not have access to the whole house, but just to the floor with their suite and balcony. The suite is accessed through the main entrance of Villa del mar and they guests go down a couple of steps to their private suite and terrace. The villa is reached by either taking the funicular or the stairs. I live on the property so am usually around should the guests need any help or advice. I choose to leave the guests to themselves but am here if needed. Villa Del Mar is within walking distance to the Seapoint main Rd where they will find food shops, chemists, coffee bars and restaurants. Camps Bay is a 15 to 20 min walk where there is the beautiful beach which has a promenade of a wonderful assortment of restaurants and coffee shops. A lock up garage is provided with the suite, otherwise Uber is really quick and efficient and relatively cheap to get around. The suite comes with its own lock up garage with a remote. The suites are serviced daily.

Bantry Bay is an area in Cape Town situated on the slopes of Lion's Head and overlooking a rocky coastline. The neighboring suburbs are Sea Point and Clifton. It was originally called Botany Bay after a botanical garden that was planted here for the cultivation of medicinal herbs. The name was changed during World War I. It is over looked by the iconic landmark Lion's Head, which is an eroded outlier of sandstone. There is a plaque on the seashore that commemorates a visit by Charles Darwin, who made important geological observations here relating to the nature and origin of granite.
