Proteus Beach House is located in the conservation village of Rooi Els, within easy reach of Cape Town and the Winelands. The property is located on the on the ocean shore line with uninterrupted sea views and access. The ideal luxury city escape or base to explore Cape Town and surrounds. We have deliberately refrained from installing a television to allow emphasis on escaping from the stressors associated with modern life. You will however not be lost for activities to keep you occupied due to the abundance of attractions close by.
Nothing affords more relaxation than being at Proteus Beach House, seeing, hearing, smelling and becoming completely immersed in nature with all your senses. I was initially apprehensive about refraining from installing a television, as it has become so integral to modern life. The ability to connect with family and friends without such interference has however now become an experience we all treasure and wish to extend to all the guests.
Rooi Els is a conservation village within the Kogelberg Biosphere. You will be surrounded by the marvel of nature with unprecedented views, whilst residing in a newly refurbished luxury beach house affording high levels of privacy. The local village benefits from a welcoming pub and small shop for essentials. The villages next door has more shopping and restaurant facilities and is only a few minutes drive away.
