Company info

We are from Amsterdam and moved to Cape Town in 2010. We love the city and the climate. We both speak English, German and Dutch. Henk speaks French. Our own house, at 23 Jarvis Street, used to be purple. That is how we chose the name Purple House. Now the colour of the house, where we also do the check-ins, is turquoise.

Our self-catering accommodations are based in De Waterkant, one of the most attractive parts of central Cape Town. The accommodations blend in with the 19th century houses of the area.
