This free standing house is located in an secure estate in the small scenic village of Raithby. Beautiful mountain views and centrally located to explore the magnificent Western Cape Winelands. Experience the rural scenery, tranquility of the area and friendliness of the local people. Although in a rural setting, it is very central as only 10 minutes’ drive away from Somerset West, 15 minutes from Stellenbosch, 25 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and 35 minutes away from Cape Town. Fully equipped kitchen and scullery. All 3 bedrooms have separate on-suite bathrooms - 2 bedrooms with air-conditioning. High speed fibre internet access. Inverter/battery back-up should periods of loadshedding occur. The property offers large scenic gardens in front and rear of the home, rounded off with a sparkling pool. Patio’s and 2 barbeque (braai) areas. Adequate secure parking in front of the house. Estate with gated entrance, house alarm and contracted security service offers ample security.

PLEASE NOTE THAT I LIVE ON THE PROPERTY IN A SEPARATE, SELF CONTAINED, FULLY FURNISHED APARTMENT ATTACHED TO THE HOUSE. MY APARTMENT HAS A SEPARATE ENTRANCE. GUESTS HAVE THE MAIN HOUSE FOR THEIR PRIVATE USE. I have a high regard for the privacy of my guests and am on-hand to answer any queries or offer assistance with area-related information/advice if required during your stay.

Guests are surrounded by a large number of wine estates that offer wine tasting and a variety of fine dining restaurants. Raithby is a very popular area for mountain biking and hiking. However if this is not your preference, playing golf, shopping or enjoying the beach at the nearby Strand, is only a stone’s throw away.
