We are located in the leafy suburb of Higgovale which is a safe10 minute walk to trendy Kloof Street. A home-from-home feeling throughout the property, is achieved by the decor, which is a collection of local art, quirky artefacts handmade by Cape Town artists, and is a nod to South Africa's rich history. Magnificent views of Table Mountain, Lions Head and the Harbour are enjoyed from the conservatory, courtyard and terrace. The Main house has 10 double En-Suite rooms and a Studio En-Suite which is detached from the Main house. This overlooks the plunge pool and deck area. In winter, a fire in the cosy lounge is lit daily where you can enjoy a glass of red wine, and in summer, sundowners can be appreciated in the courtyard while soaking in the majesty of Table Mountain. The splash pool is an invitation to soak up the African Sun and work on your tan or relax on our loungers.

Rosedene has been a guesthouse since 1996 with ever changing upgrades to our rooms. Our staff prides itself on personal service and we are available to you 24 hours a day. We are knowledgeable and helpful in recommending activities to make the most of your stay in Cape Town. Suggestions of daily excursions are relayed to the staff with delightful feedback in the evening, with a complimentary glass of wine between 18h00 and 19h00. Our staff is friendly and always on hand for assistance, no matter how small. Our night staff is on duty from 18h00 to 06h00 so a late night arrival will be met with a warm greeting and professional check in process. Day Duty Managers are around the property at all times and will entertain any request with a smile.

We are at the top of trendy Kloof Street, with a miriad of bistros, restaurants and a convenience store within a 5 minute walk. We are centrally located to Camps Bay beaches, the V & A Waterfront and Table Mountain and Lion's Head. Rosedene is located an upmarket, residential area, in a quiet cu-de-sac, which makes it hard to believe we are almost in the middle of a vibrant City. There are a variety of excellent restaurants, cafe's and shops within walking distance to the City Centre. We are centrally located with main road access to the Peninsula, West Coast and Winelands.
