Welcome to our tastefully furnished suites which were designed with our personal touch. It has always been our dream to live near the sea. We also live on the property in a private cottage below the suites. Located on the mountainside with breath-taking sea views across the bay to the Hottentot mountains.
Welcome to our home! I am a retired school teacher with 36 years experience at 2 of the top private schools in South Africa - Kearsney College and Bishops. I love sport, reading and walking. I have been married to Hilary since 1981. We have 3 children and 3 beautiful grandchildren.
We live in a quiet neighborhood, within close proximity to restaurants, Harbor Bay Lifestyle Centre is 800 meters away, a quaint shopping center with 4 restaurants. Our village, Simon’s Town is 3kms from our accommodation by car, the naval harbor, restaurants and shops, all old world. The penguin colony is a 5 km drive and Cape Point a 27km drive. The local restaurant Dixies, is 500m away and the bathing beach, Glencairn Beach, is 900 meters away with a brand new tidal pool. We are situated on the Cape Peninsula with Boulders, Seaforth, Cape Point, Kalk Bay, Muizenberg, Scarborough, Kommetjie, Fishoek on our doorstep, The Cape Vineyards, Chapman's Peak, Noordhoek in our immediate vicinity where restaurants, music and Cape wines are the order of the day. Hout Bay and Llandudno are also very close by. It is the ideal quiet getaway vs. the buzz of Cape Town and the Atlantic Seaboard which is 38km away. The Stellenbosch Winelands and Cape Town airport is 60 minutes away.
