Smugglers Cottage BnB was designed and built in 2002 and is filled with mystery and magic. With only 3 rooms, one of those a family room (which sleeps 4), Smugglers Cottage BnB, offers affordable and unique accommodation to couples, families and even those travelling with their four-legged children. With names like Flying Dutchman, Sparrows' Nest and Abdols Cove each of the 3 rooms has unique stories and decor to match. Our experienced staff, led by Ansu will ensure that your stay with us is stress-free, enjoyable and unforgettable. Spend your days walking along white beaches in search of a lost treasure or lounge by the pool and soak up the West Coast sun while listening to the waves crash beyond. At the end of your lazy day, rinse off the salty sand in the en-suite rain shower before leaving for a delectable supper at one of the many fine establishments in the village, as we, unfortunately, do not have any self-catering or braai facilities. Welcome to Smugglers' BnB. I relocated to Paternoster 3 weeks before our country went into lockdown and have loved living in this small West Coast village from the beginning. My passions include cooking, floral arrangements and my two cats. I enjoy meeting new people, and it brings me great pleasure to ensure our guests have a relaxing, restful stay with us. Our amazing team of hard-working ladies are dedicated to providing spotlessly clean accommodation and delicious breakfasts. We truly hope that you will have a wonderful stay with us.

The Smugglers' Cottage BnB is located on the quieter side of Paternoster. Within walking distance of most restaurants and the village centre, and a mere 50m away from the beach. Unfortunately, we do not have any sea views, but we are in earshot of the breaking waves and less than a minute's walk from the beach. Paternoster is known for its world-class restaurants, such as Wolfgat, Noisy Oyster, and Gaaitjie, making it the ultimate foodie getaway. The ideal location for long walks on the beach or lazing the day away next to the pool. Although Paternoster offers limited activities, one can book guided horseback rides on the beach, kayaking among the boulders, mobile massage services for a spa treatment in your room, hiking in the Cape Columbine Nature Reserve and visit some of the local artists at their working studios.
