Southern Cross guesthouse is located in a spacious garden. Our neighborhood between Helena Heights and De Wingert is on 130 m above sea level which provides beautiful views over False Bay from some of the rooms and common area`s like the breakfast- as well as the sundeck. Plenty of space in the lush and manicured garden - no matter if you seek for sun or shade. You are invited to jump in the outdoor-pool or make use of the braai- and boma-place in the garden, offering views to stunning CapePoint with awesome sunsets.

Neighborhood info

Our neighborhood is a residential area on the slopes of Helderberg Mountain. We are situated in a Cul de Sac - so not much traffic passing by. Just in our back the entry to the stunning Cape-Winelands area with plenty of restaurants starts as well as some world-known or small family owned vineyards - you will be spoiled for choice! Same applies for picking the golf-course you want to try and work on your swing. In terms of all activities you can expect to be with us in the perfectly situated triangle for having all this in close proximity: Golfing, Waterspouts or Sunbathing in False Bay, Hiking up Helderberg, Table Mountain or Jonkershoek Nature Reserve, endless Wine-tastings, visits to beautiful Stellenbosch or Franschoek, all the sights in Cape Town or in general on Cape Peninsula .... honestly nothing takes you more then 10-40 minutes by car. Even Whale-watching in Hermanus can be reached in under 1hr.
