St James Beachfront Villa is a perfectly positioned Victorian gem on the beachfront. Elevated and private with access to promenade walks to St James Tidal Pool, popular Kalk Bay shops/restaurants and Surfers’ Corner in Muizenberg. It boasts 2 entire homes: the beautifully restored 4-bedroom Family Villa with wooden floors, high ceilings and the 2-bedroom, Guest Apartment with a large sun-drenched balcony. Both enjoy private entrances, outside balcony/patio, and social braai/BBQ area, one secure parking bay and uninterrupted sea views over False Bay. Due to the age and character of the Villa, which was built in 1900, and its proximity to the sea, guests with allergies or who are immunocompromised may find this environment unsuitable. Family Villa sleeps up to 8 guests however, it is recommended for 6 adults as the 4th bedroom adjoining. It boasts uninterrupted sea views of False Bay. It comprises 2 large bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a separate toilet on the upstairs level. The main bedroom has direct access to the balcony overlooking False Bay. The downstairs area includes a large open-plan living space comprising an eat-in kitchen and a spacious lounge area with a TV. Moving into the heart of the Villa, you will find 1 bedroom adjoining a kid’s bedroom, both enjoy ensuite bathrooms. The expansive patio has seating and a braai/BBQ area flowing onto a level grassed garden. The lounge has a centrally placed double-sided fireplace with a kids’corner. The scullery leads off the back of the kitchen. Adjoining is an open-air courtyard with a washing line. Guest Apartment, located next to the Family Villa, sleeps 4 guests and comprises an open-plan kitchen and living room with direct access to a large balcony overlooking False Bay. The neat open-plan kitchen has a gas stove and an electric oven. The bathroom comprises a shower, a bath, and a toilet. The main bedroom has a double bed with a shuttered sash window and sea views. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed with BICs.

St James is a hidden gem. With its beautiful beaches and wealth of accessible restaurants and coffee shops in the surrounding Kalk Bay and Muizenberg areas. It is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday any time of the year as it is sheltered from the Southeast, prevailing summer wind. St James is a family-oriented suburb spoilt for choice with several beaches, restaurants, as well as a fantastic promenade all within walking distance. The St James Beach Sunrise Villa is a well-positioned 8-minute walk from Muizenberg Beach, a 2-minute walk from St James tidal pool and a 6-minute walk from Danger Beach. Kalk Bay and Muizenberg's popular shops/restaurants are all within walking distance. The St James train station is a 2-minute walk from the Villa. There are many spectacular mountain walks accessible on foot from the accommodation.
