De Waterkant is an exciting suburb that I love to walk and explore in. There are plenty of interesting cafes, restaurants and boutique shops that give the neighborhood a unique flavor. Some of my favorites include Origin (Cape Town's first new age coffee shop), Plato (a coffee shop next door to the apartment), The Athletic Club & Social (just a short walk over the bridge), Loading Bay (best lunches) and Cafe Chiffon (best deserts). There are so many interesting places to explore.
