The Tides offers 3 x suites equipped with King size beds, en-suite bathroom, kitchenette with microwave oven, fridge, toaster and kettle. A dinette set for two is available for guest use. Outside the suite are loungers or a dinette set for morning cups of coffee. Enjoy endless sea views overlooking the India Ocean over to the Helderberg Mountain range. The Tides is a wonderful place to relax while you explore the South Peninsula.
I have been hosting for many years and enjoy meeting new travellers from all over the world. Being an outdoor person, I could not think of a more fitting place to live. We are surrounded by oceans and mountains and this calls for being outdoors most of the time.
Simons Town is a historical Naval village, far enough away to enjoy the solitude, but close enough to pop into the city (max 1 hour drive). With so much to do and see there is hardly enough time to fit everything in on a one night stay. We encourage guests to stay at least 2-3 days to explore the Simons Town and the surrounding areas.
