Three Oaks is a special B&B with a personal touch. The name is taken from three huge oak trees in the front garden. Our children used to bring achorns from their grandparents home in Stellenbosch and played in the garden with them. Lots of small oak trees grew from them and we kept the three beautiful trees. Our garden is a peaceful green haven, thanks to our borehole. It is very popular for brides to take wedding photos. Also the interior is extraodinary beautiful. Stella is an artist and that can be seen right through. Three Oaks is a loving, warm home where guests really feel at ease. They love to sit on the patios and just relax and enjoy the peace, the bird song and the smell of fragrant roses. Breakfast on the patio is something special with all the beauty around you. We love to treat our guests with a full scrumptious breakfast. Guests usually love to visit again and again. Three Oaks is not dependant on Escom power. You will have wi-fi and light during loadshedding. Please note that we DO NOT have air conditioning and the beds in the rooms are all normal double bed size. Kobus and Stella Wiid are the hosts of Three Oaks. They are very active, energetic people. Guests usually comment on Kobus ( the handyman) who is always running around, seeing that everything is 100% in order and thereby trying to please his guests. Stella is the artist , always thinking of new ways to make it even more beautiful and Kobus is the one seeing that her plans are put into action. They both are sporty people who love running and the outdoors. Kobus is a very keen, enthusiastic kitesurfer. If he starts on that topic, he never stops! They are both keen gardeners which you can see the moment when you stop in front of the house. Stella loves to make the linen for the guest rooms herself and Kobus is a talented carpenter. Three Oaks is situated in the peaceful , beautiful suburb of Durbanville. Guests usually comment on how quiet it is in the garden, although it is near the N1 and very centrally situated from all the most important tourist attractions. It is about 10 minutes drive from the popular Tygervalley Mall and there are great restaurants just a stone throw away. It is still a safe area. There are also safety gates and walls around the property. For sight seeing you are about 25 minutes from the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, or Table Mountain and about 20 minutes away from the famous beaches of Blouberg Strand. Three Oaks is about halfway between Cape Town and Paarl and Stellenbosch ( 25 minutes away). It is in the centre of the beautiful Western Cape Winelands.
