The place seemed to reopen recently, still has the vibe from the 80s with its design and architecture. Although it’s in need of some renovation, it offers amazing views of the lake and has great potential for future development. We had an overnight stay, had a dinner in Karjaa so we were not really seeking any SPA or nature experience and only needed a place to sleep. So our expectations were originally quite low. Good sides so far: great option for budget traveling, dead silence, not many customers, friendly staff, clean rooms.

A wonderful location, stayed in a cabin no. 3 (out of 3) which offered comfortable and private accommodation while having a short distance to the main building. The Forest Spa visit is a must, beautifully done! Having a breakfast delivered to bed (almost :) ) was a great experience too.
