Excellent breakfast and service there. Front desk staff very helpful. Location close to the centre of Chester with pleasant access from he hotel. Canal added to the ambience. A gym and indoor swimming pool are part of the hotel. A short walk to convenience stores, bars and restaurants (including oven-fired pizzas!) in Brooke Street.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is dog friendly. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the stay was excellent value for money

Stunning rooms which had been tastefully refurbished. The hotel far exceeded our expectations!

Plenty of room, kitchen had cookware and dinnerware suitable for any meal. The street is busy but still quiet enough. The 16 bus will get you going to almost anywhere (except Sunday morning). Contact with proprietors was easy and thorough, although we had little reason to do so. Finally, the Inn near the river is friendly, good food (and beer!), and convenient.

The house is beautiful and in a very convenient location for Chester center and the race course. No parking but we parked at saddlery way car park with horizon for 2 nights which was secure and very cheap. The host is lovely and so accommodating to any needs you have.

This place is absolutely brilliant for relaxation, and it’s spacious enough for the whole family. It’s very quiet, with a lovely view. The customer service is excellent, and we loved seeing the animals there.
