Very clean quiet, comfy beds, big kitchen

Very clean and warm. Good linen provided and decent pillows. I needed help with the TV, and received assistance immediately. Highly recommended and will stay again.

My friends and I stayed here for one night during our winter North Island road trip. Whangārei was a perfect stopover for us, and the villa turned out to be a lovely surprise after a long drive. The house was spacious, peaceful, and full of character, with a warm and relaxing atmosphere in the evening. The host was also very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable from the start. Even though we only stayed briefly, it became a memorable part of our trip.

I felt like I was staying with family friends. They were so friendly, I had some incredible chats with everyone, and of course the dogs were sweethearts - well trained, didn't jump up at me but did want pats if possible. I don't really write reviews normally but honestly this stay was a highlight of my trip. They did also mention that some people who come to stay aren't that sociable and that they are more than happy with that - very much each to their own so even if you aren't sociable, this will be a relaxing stay. Views were wonderful from the deck, spa was delightful, but honestly, the people were fantastic. Definitely think I'll stay here any time I'm in Whangarei going forward.

Absolutely beautiful green property with the kindest hosts! We felt so welcome and cared for during our stay. Yurt was very cozy, quaint and well equipped. Would love to have stayed longer, but will definitely stay again when we find ourselves in the region again. BIG thank you to both Elaine & Alan!
