I felt like I was staying with family friends. They were so friendly, I had some incredible chats with everyone, and of course the dogs were sweethearts - well trained, didn't jump up at me but did want pats if possible. I don't really write reviews normally but honestly this stay was a highlight of my trip. They did also mention that some people who come to stay aren't that sociable and that they are more than happy with that - very much each to their own so even if you aren't sociable, this will be a relaxing stay. Views were wonderful from the deck, spa was delightful, but honestly, the people were fantastic. Definitely think I'll stay here any time I'm in Whangarei going forward.

We only stayed for one night, but the room was excellent and would easily be just as good for an extended stay. The snacks were appreciated and more than expected. Breakfast cereals had a choice with fresh fruit and yoghurt. The position was beautiful with the canal in view. All in all a good place to stay.

Absolutely beautiful green property with the kindest hosts! We felt so welcome and cared for during our stay. Yurt was very cozy, quaint and well equipped. Everything - every facility you could want was there. The fridge was packed with bead, jam, yoghurt, cereal, milk and fruit. The room was warm and comfortable. Our hosts Paul and Katalina are super friendly and happy to advise and inform you of what the North of the North Island has to offer.

The views are stunning. The pods are set up with a separate living room/kitchen and bedroom. Lots of privacy and space. The coffee machine was amazing and the owner left us tea, nespresso pods and milk. Easy to walk into Tutukaka and access to lighthouse trail.
