Great staff, perfect location, good vibe in the lounge lobby after skiing

I have stayed here for the last 3 mountain biking seasons, breakfast has a lot of options and is very tasty.

Incredible location- could not be more central to all ski lifts, restaurants and supermarkets. You are located on the main strip! The hotel was immaculately clean, great breakfast and a wonderful spa with 3 different types of sauna to use post ski. Very comfortable room, beds and great bathrooms.

Central location of the hotel, very nice and stylish hotel, helpful and attentive owner and staff, excellent food, possibility to use the wellness center, rent a bicycle. Gastro surprise and gift at the end.

Excellent location, beautiful views, amazing service, and very clean and comfy

Hotel Das Kohlmais was exactly what we were hoping for and more. The staff were super friendly, the rooms were cozy and comfortable, and we loved both the indoor and outdoor pools. The sauna area was pretty good too, and the whole place had a relaxed and welcoming vibe. The location is also super practical – right in the village and close to the underground garage, so it was easy to get around. What really blew us away though was the food. The restaurant and the chef were on another level – honestly the best I’ve experienced in Austria (and I’ve stayed at quite a few hotels here). I have a milk allergy and they went out of their way every day to create something special and delicious for me. That kind of attention and creativity really stood out. The hotel isn’t huge, which made it feel more personal and cozy.

Loved our stay here. The ski and book room made it very convenient to store gear and not have to waste time in the mornings. Parking was near by but not on the property. Great location to walk into town.

We stayed for one night and had a wonderful experience. In the morning, the breakfast was excellent - a good buffet plus freshly prepared dishes from a menu, and the lady working there was very friendly and attentive. We also loved sitting outside on the shaded terrace, enjoying our breakfast surrounded by the mountain scenery - it was a great start to the day. The hotel offers great value. My room was spacious with a large bathroom, and the location is perfect — just a 3‑minute walk to Captain Hook Water Park, with free entry thanks to the Joker Card. The big parking lot was another plus.

Very nice staff. Big rooms and great prize for the area. View from rooms is also really nice. Its pretty close to the lift and the centre.)

Fantastic location, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely facilities and spotlessly clean.

This hotel is truly exceptional- rooms are large and very comfortable. The new spa rivals many purpose built facilities and staff are brilliant (positive and helpful with a smile). The standout however is the food - quality ingredients cooked with passion and flair and we were lucky to have Dora as our waitress for the week (right level of chat whilst being totally on it- big thanks). Finally as skiers we were very close to two gondola stations- perfect (that and the spacious boot room)

Close to the ski lift , 50m walk and across the road from a nice bar, restaurant . Night club underneath hotel handy if you have daughters!

I recently had the pleasure of staying in cannot recommend it highly enough. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's exceptional service. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any request. Additionally, I had the opportunity to dine at the hotel's restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The menu featured a variety of delicious dishes, showcasing both local flavors and international cuisine. The breakfast buffet was particularly noteworthy, offering a wide selection of fresh and tasty options to start the day. In summary, the hotel exceeded all my expectations and provided an outstanding experience.
