United StatesThe staff were helpful with arranging parking. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean. The kitchens in the apartments were well equipped. The mattresses were quite comfortable. The Nespresso coffee was a nice touch. The location was great - near good eateries and coffee as well as walking distance to Stanley Park.

This is a great place to stay. Location is excellent with walking distance to Robson St and many attractions. It is exceptionally clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Location is perfect. Many restaurants around with price friendly groceries. Easy access to the train station up at Barrud, can walk down to the water front....
Oh...the staff, so friendly, professional and ever willing to help. They gave me an umbrella on a rainy day when I was heading out further downtown! Highly recommended!

Loved the park- it’s magnificent.
Loved the park- it’s magnificent. We shouldn’t have walked so much before getting to the park because it’s so big so next time would take the hop-on bus or something. Could have spent more time there than we did. Would love to go back and visit the nature house and aquarium. Need more than one trip to see and do everything.

You stop here on a tour with land and sea tours, around the city and the suspension bridge! If you do we definitely think all the guys must be great but Recommend Tim from our experience he was Funny, accommodating and very knowledgeable!!! If you are lucky and have more time you can also walk there if you are staying in downtown!

We had a wonderful stay at English Bay Hotel. The location is unbeatable—just steps from English Bay Beach, Stanley Park, and countless cafés, restaurants, and shops. It was the perfect base for exploring Vancouver on foot. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable, and offered everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Waking up and being able to walk along the waterfront each morning was truly a highlight.

Everything!!
Beautiful recent renovation.
Very accessible to downtown and Stanley Park and Vancouver Tower.
Fabulous 1 hr. ferry ride around Cole Harbour.
It was pricey but we were able to change the room rate close to our arrival which was a significant savings.
The hotel receptionists, Horace and Rayan were more than gracious and helpful, going above and beyond to help us!

The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the location can't be beat. It's within walking distance of Second Beach and Stanley Park, and English Bay is just a 5-minute walk away. We enjoyed the apartment-style room.

The Sylvia Hotel's location is outstanding. Situated directly on English Bay with breathtaking ocean views and just steps from Stanley Park, it offers some of the most beautiful scenery in Vancouver. Waking up to the waterfront and watching the sunsets made our stay truly memorable.

The apartment feel was great for our stay. We were able to go to Safeway, right across the street and get food and snacks. It was the perfect distance to walk to Stanley Park and English Beach. I would recommend staying here if you plan to visit for a few days.

Great Location! Lots of stuff to do and is closed to Stanley Park. Choice of restaurants in the area is great. We only used our car once during our weekend stay. Hotel has very reasonable rates for parking though it is tight.

Good central location in downtown Vancouver. Walkable distance from Stanley Park, Canada Place, and Gastown. Historic old house with many character features and unique rooms. Very good breakfast, with both hot and cold items. Although we arrived late, there was a decanter of dessert wine and snack items in the kitchen from which to help ourselves. Very accommodating hostess allowed us to leave our suitcases after check-out to pick up later.
